MY BABY G

Thursday, June 25, 2015

It's all about that new Baby-G hype! It got me wearing my favourite BA-110SN-7A (in matt white). I guess most of you are familiar with Baby-G;,it’s a lifestyle brand under Casio. Just G-SHOCK is more for guys, Baby-G is more suitable for ladies as they are designed for small wrists hehe. I find that the watch is not only rugged like G-SHOCK, but it also has different variations for different lifestyle.

As you know, the trend now is all about being sporty.A pair of sneakers, casual tees, cotton shorts, or gym wear (even if you don’t gym!) and you’re all ready to go. Like me, I love wearing outfits like that! It’s so comfortable and I feel good about it. I've been picking up gym lately and I love how my Baby-G has become one of my daily essentials to keep things up with my jam-packed schedule.

One of my fav features in Baby-G has is the World Time function, where we can set our time to different time zones! You don't have to keep re-setting the time as you travel to different countries. It shows you 29 time zones (48 cities + UTC), city code display, and daylight saving on/off.

Yes, I miss NYC already! also, you'll get to choose 12/24 hour format! )

Like I mentioned earlier, I have been going to the gym recently and the alarm and countdown timer feature are super plus points to me. In every session of my workout, I set a certain time limit and challenge the number of reps I can do within the time frame. Not only it’s convenient to use, the Baby-G design is also fashionable and matches with my gym outfit. I guess I can get my Kendall Jenner body very soon (YES IM SERIOUS!) heh. Look forward to it!

NYC TRIPPIN : Airbnb & the Lower East Side

Wednesday, June 24, 2015

It's almost 2 months since the day I came back from NYC and I still can't believe that I've been there! I have serious NYC withdrawal syndrome since then and I can't wait to go back there someday. I supposed to go there for Kiehl's media for 4 days but since I'm already there, I decided to extend my trip and I'm glad that I got Airbnb on board to sponsor my extended stays. Airbnb is always my top choice when it comes to traveling. I immediately fell in love with the idea since the first experience with them for my first trip to Tokyo. A lil bit about Airbnb, Airbnb is a website for people to rent out lodging. It has over 1,000,000 listings in 34,000 cities and 190 countries. For people who loves traveling, Airbnb gives you experiences what is like to be a local, staying around great neighborhoods, blending in with culture.

I got so excited looking for the ideal place to stay in NYC. Asked around people who been there about the neighborhoods and I decided to stay at Lower East Side as the neighborhood there is more urban & hip. There's so many great stays from Airbnb and I found the best stay I could ever imagined, hosted by Jonathan Olinger, filmaker/storyteller/founder of HUMAN.  Pretty cool huh, staying with someone so inspirational!

His place is exactly what it is like on the pictures. Literally died looking at the high windows ( you can tell how much I love natural lightning if you been to Project Space Coffee ). Some people might have doubts on staying with a host, what I can suggest is always read the reviews and be aware of those with red flags on. I've stayed with hosts for my past few stays in Tokyo ( twice! ) & London. They are all friendly people.

Jonathan gave us a list of places to visit around the neighborhood.

Or you can check out the guidebook provided!
( Some hosts will pin point some recommended places to visit like how Jonathan pin pointed a few cafes around his area. )

Just so you know! I'm giving out travel credits for your next Airbnb stay!
Anyway! Here's what happen at the Lower East Side of NYC!
