Ur Malaysian Showing Lah!

I'm not sure if you remember about the Merdeka video I did 2 years ago where I asked some of you to submit a short film singing Blue's One Love. Like every year, Astro is celebrating Merdeka Day by spreading positivity and hapiness to all Malaysians, by launching a few campaigns including #go beyond and #UrMalaysianShowing, paging all Malaysian to show our unique Malaysian-ness and be proud of it! Like me, I'm always proud of using the word “ Lah” everywhere I go or even when I blog, with the “Lah” behind every sentence, I actually think that it can make things sounds more friendly.Other than that, Astro launched a new music video, entitled “Excuse me Sir, your Malaysian is showing” that will be revealed any soon!

Each and every inspiring message trigger the Positive Engine which placed on the 3^rd floor in Midvalley. 

Everyone should start tweeting now too!!! Anything positive will do! Just hashtag #gobeyond and #UrMalaysianShowing ,help Astro to reach 1 million positive contributions!

Besides that, to show our malaysian love, Astro launched an T-Shirt app on their facebook for us to create our own T-shirt with choices of our unique lingo such as Syok!, Gostan, Brudder, Fuyoh, Macha, understood only by us Malaysians.

\This year, Nuffnang and ChurpChurp were also involved in this campaign to boost the social media by inviting bloggers to spread the love. I was there to witness the whole event happening @Midvalley Megamall last week! Bascially Nuffnang and ChurpChurp came out with this contest where all the bloggers team up and finishes 27 tasks prepared. The main purpose of this contest is to spread positivity and happiness through all social platforms by hashtagging #gobeyond and #UrMalaysianShowing.

Sundate @ Antoinette, Singapore

Just came back from Singapore yesterday and I'm missing it already! Dated the two awesome bloggers Yutaki and Sophie for the second time, I still remember that we blended quite easily in our first meeting last few months, maybe it's because we read each other blogs. I felt really really great cuz I used to be a very awkward person and feel uncomfortable when it comes to new friends, but I'm glad that I feel really comfortable with them. Sometimes it's really amazing to meet new friends and feel like we known each other for a long time :)

They brought me to Antoinette @ Palai Renaissance for a desserts, Yutaki insists to come here cuz it's very pretty and this branch is more quiet compare to the other one, the most important thing is we can take heck lots of pictures and no one will bother. Yes, we did took a lot of pictures in each an every corner of the place lolll.


We talked so much, all sorts of random stuff until we didn't realize we've been there for hours. After knowing them more, I can tell that Yutaki is a hyper active baby, talkative and a real entertainer, as for Sophie, I find a lil resemblance with her, we are both cold blooded chic. Not to say cold blooded but much more like emotionless, don't give a shit type of person. Aweeesomeee.

The toothache pose.

Been hanging out a lot with this lady since she came back from aussie. Felt like the old days when we both were still in high school. I can tell that we both changed a lot but our heart are still as close. I'm not sure how we did it, but we just did. It's funny how that every time when we are together, we say the most random shit and do the most crazy things. I just couldn't imagine if people see us like that lolll. Sometimes I feel really bad cuz I use to lecture her in a very sarcastic way, but I bet she know that the words came out of love :P AND THIS KID NEEDS A LOT OF LOVEEEEEEE.

Okay, it's getting awkward cuz I sounded like her boyfriend lollll. Anyway, this is a random lunch date we had last Sunday @ Absolute Thai, The Gardens. Suppose to go Sushi Zanmai or Fong Lye but the que was crayyyyyyyyyyyyy. Decided to go Thai for lunch, somehow I feel really weird to eat thai food for lunch, normally people go for dinner right?

Can't wait to watch The Mortal Instruments : City of Bones tomorrow with the girls! I don't find it interesting at first but after Daphne shared with me one of their soundtrack "Almost is Not Enough" by Ariana Grande & Nathan Sykes, I just raped the play button over and over again. Hopefully the movie is good!!

Nana's 22nd @ La Risata

It was Nana's 22nd Birthday last Friday and we had our usual private birthday dinner tradition @ La Risata, Ampang. Yes,  my all time fav Italian restaurant. Can't believe I'm blogging about her birthday again, I mean I thought I just blogged about her 21st Birthday not long ago but it's already a year! Also, it's my turn to turn 21st next month... and I have no plans yet :/ Maybe I should just sleep through my birthday month ( playing Green Day "wake me up, when september ends.." )

Back to Nana's birthday dinner, I was my idea to dine in La Risata cuz I know that their food will satisfy the girls cuz they never let me down after so many years. I've been a very loyal fan since age 10 I think. After 10 years, I still think their pizzas are the best!

I forgot what's the name of this salad but it's similar to caeser salad. ( I'm not a salad person, obviously this is Nana's fav. She has a thing for vege lol )

Squid ink stuff looks disgusting but trust me, it's so so so good!

 It took quite sometime to find the right birthday present for her. She has almost everything! We decided to get this Diptyque Fragrance set and glad that she loves it!!! Every girls loves things that smells good :D

150813 - Unbeatable

Decided to do a separate short post for my day out! Had a movie date with my babes today, but before that, me and Ashley decided to munch something @Komugi Cafe, Pavilion. A Japanese concept cafe, also one of my fav place to have coffee in Pavilion..besides than Starbucks. This time we decided to try some of their food. I tried once long time ago before they changed their menu. Food wasn't that good back then but today I tried their sandwich, it was pretty good!

After that, we watched "Unbeatable"  and all I can say about this movie is DROLLLLLL. I don't really check out guys, but Eddie Peng 彭于晏 is too hot to be true.

HE IS SOOOOOO HOT I just died every time he appear. He used to be just a pretty boy but in this movie, his image changed to a hot hunk and now I sound like a prev. lollll. How can someone be so hot and cute in the same time. Thank god for creating such beautiful people...can you appear in my dreams :X  

Of course, I have to praise Nick Cheung's new body... it's just......... *jaw drop* ! Couldn't imagine all the pain he goes through building the body. Also, proud of Crystal Lee who acted in Unbeatable, she's so young and talented, definitely going to be a super star when she grow up.
